    Yes northwestern mn ( getting 6-8 inches white stuff) I have used Henry’s 663 in past but no idea how it will hold up. Ill look into the dap weld wood contact cement i do know that the Henry’s 663 works very well (strong) on carpet to aluminum)

    Windshield and consoles are aligned nicely and secured Cut the fronts of consoles ( had old pattern and it fits nicely) On to putting some 2 part epoxy! What adhesive you all like on carpet to epoxied wood?

    Got the windshield figured out, those 2 pieces don’t attach except for using the same 3 holes on front of console when windshield goes on. I made my own T bolts by grinding heads Cut aluminum down on pan head screws Still have some minor adjustments before attaching consoles to floor Progress...

    Need help with windshield install. Anybody able to enlighten me a bit on windshield install ( pics would be great) I Have got a bit done and am back at it. Side panels , side vinyl, rod holders and cleats Console kinda but need to get windshield install to make sure all lines up.

    i hear ya Mattsteg. my 1/2 inch will also let me pull it into place. my issue is after i epoxy it 2 coats, i want to foam and vinyl. if i dont have it holding its curve independant of being fastened, when i vinyl then bend, my vinyl will be wrinked not smooth.

    i hear ya, reserector. im also tossing around the idea of using 3/8 hyfax (poly) material.( the kind you find on snowmobile skies or portable fish houses. heating it , clamping it any thoughts?

    Classic, how do you get it to keep the shape while you put on the several coats? thanks guys, yes those relief (kerf) cuts may be the way to go, but thinking i may try 1/4 inch birch , soak 24 hours, heat it up, clamp it on for a few days, and then laminate 2 pieces together to make it 1/2 inch.

    Update: I sprayed my bow uppers with h20 to get them wet , and then clamped them in place on boat, with the idea of leaving them 10 days , they would form to the bow, as the old were. That is not at all what, took place, as they did not form at all. plan b is to soak them in the tub for 20...
