    Cooling problems

    Might run a hair over... overheat in certain conditions until you take it out make the poppets open but if you have no flow you have no flow. Could be a bad gasket? Did you replace the entire pump assembly or just the impeller?

    I believe that you need the same number of wires. How much voltage did it get to. Voltage rise should be fairly slow.

    I'm a run it till it dies kinda guy but trying a new gauge is the best advice. If that doesn't check out then pull, flatin and change the head gaskets. Lots online about using sandpaper to true them up. Fish on!

    Alarm is either remote, incorporated in the control box, (most likely) or missing. Do you have a omc/brp tach with check engine lights?

    Tough with old wires because the coloring has faded or is gone. Do your best to locate each wire and make sure there going to the right place. Tough but can be done. If you can't find a friend and do it together. One things for sure, don't give up on the old girl because I'm sure she's giving...
