    For now use the dampner mark to find TDC. To find TDC compression stroke, remove No.1 and put a cork or your thumb over the plug hole. Bump the starter around until cork pops out. This is compression TDC. If needed rotate motor around slowly 2 more revolutions to bring it back around

    Not sure what max rpm should be but thinking it would be around 5500, then you will probably over rev by a few hundred when not skiing. Might loose a few KPH Finding the V4 gear case is 2.0 and the V6 is 1.86 or 2.20 ratio

    With the IAC at 99% the ECM is trying to increase the rpm. Your compression is low if you gauge is accurate What does the MAP and Temp show? Does it get better when the motor warms up or stay the same?
