    I had a similar issue when I started my project in which I started being alot more generous with the acetone and putting a coat of resin down prior to laying and wetting the cloth and it really eliminated that issue for me.

    I originally had 3/4" pine boards for stringers and they lasted 30 years. I replaced them with 3/4" plywood and they are so much stronger than the originals plus last my lifetime because they are sealed correctly.

    Hi all, I ran her for awhile today and have come to the realization that a carb cleaning/rebuild is going to happen in the spring but I'll run her one more time to get the stabil into the fuel system for the winter. I reinstalledthe front units so the windshield supports could be attached.

    I left a "lip" when I did mine. I left it high enough so I could use c-clamps to clamp the new ones in place while I PB's them in, I also did this for my motor mounts.

    I've been running non-ethonal will that still be ok? I am going to assume non-ethonal is better regardless because most "including me" run it in all our small engines

    In regards to the fuel system is it better to run the carburetor dry or leave fuel in it with stabilizer since it sits longer here in the north between seasons. Thanks 😊
