    I think I would have issues with the strength in regard to towing or skiing. You also would want the strength of the milled fibers.

    I used sheets of corrugated plastic. All the other stuff failed due to water or chemicals. Cut and taped to fit. Saved my newly painted deck. HD and Blowes have them.

    I've never done this but have heard it come up before. Load the tank with some chains and drive around with it in a pickup and let it rattle around. Good luck.

    I would say buy the roll for cost savings and a good pair of scissors from the toll dept. like Tod recommended. Scraps can be used as you would simply overlay @2" over each other.
