    PVC stringers?

    So at the end of the day you are back to the form of the glass around the pvc. Not the structural use. I would think then the glass would need to be added on as heavier. It's kinda like hollow stringers filled with foam. I think I would still use proper wood and the typical installation.

    Bonding Wood Backing to Fiberglass Shell

    If those wood pcs. are going to be the finished ends then give them a 45 deg clip. That way the glass will follow the contor and no need for pb there. Prior to install soak all edges and flats with resin. Let it soak in and dry. Then install.
