    3m but call the mfg. They will recomend type of tape, cleaners/primers to use on paint and also on the metal. The bond is the import of using this material. I found them very helpful whwn I dis my front boat windows.

    You can add some pb the make a bevel on those straight edges or use a planer. The glass will roll righ over in 1 pc. Looks GREAT Tod!

    Thanks Sam. I'm not sure yet. But I have easy access to install. I read about both ways good, bad or necessary. Seems a lot of guys like to use "rain dance" windshield cleaner and keeps the water off. Wash with Dawn soap.

    You're past it now but you can prior add a slight bevel to the tops to roll over easier.2nd option is to run the glass up the sides only. Come back and just glass the flat tops. Trim off with multi tool. Looks nice! Yup like Sam, been there done that.

    Sorry for the late reply, It should have started to set up with in a 1/2 hour. They call it "pot life" for the working time of the poly. Looking good!

    Where you cut the foam you should brush/roll with epoxy. To close your new open close cell foam.

    If its teak or mahogany save it and use it again. A solid wood that will take a screw, oak, maple, poplar just like you are taking out. You're also going to use an adhesive like pb. Counter sink your screws, predrill, dip in 5200. coat with pb.
