Early start today. I was going to varnish/small repairs on the console deck. Did some research, talked prior to Woodonglass and had recollections come back to this ole fart. I bought a spar urethane thinking I grabbed a spar varnish. Oh well....reorder for tomorow delivery.
Went and finally...
Picked up some African quarter sawn ribbon walnut veneer. Off amazon/ Hd. So today I prepped up the console deck, cut/fit the veneer, applied and stained. Will follow up with varnish. Happy considering its a 1st and I'm a carpenter hack.
Yesterday I made a console templatebase, it will @ 3/4" void between existing and new. The intention is to be able to pull wires under, over to both sides to a wire chase and be concealed.
Today took template pcs. and cut out for fit. Fits and looks good. 3/8" bcx. Waiting on paint for interior...

Had rain all morning so I did some stuff needed inside the boat. Then
the sun broke out and I got up on the roof.
Finished fairing.
Ran 1 coat primer. Thats it I'm beat.
Looks like some heavy rains with thunder, lightening. Back up on the roof today and got all of it faired out.
Already set up enough to pull cover over it before rain.
I grinded down the roof glass and yesterdays fairing to get rid of high spots and freaky glass runs. I was thinking I would be able to
put on coayt of fairing but manoman this took alot longer than I anticipated. Well anyhow thats out of the way so thats a tommorrow yob.
In april I had pneaumonia and had an infection/fluid in my right lung. Tube and drainage. Serious pain.
Later went back for xray and their was still 25% fluid left.
So surgery with robot to evaluate nodule...non cancerous thank God.
