In most all cases you don't need the anchor adjustment tool anymore, but its just a 1/4 plate with a slot in it to hold neutral position. The tool was used before the factory started adjusting the length and penned the barrel nut fixed.
You also don't need core wire, you use a piece of the...
In my pic above I mistakenly said the clear box on the front left as a over flow container, its the out drive lube bottle.
Your pic is like the one above and also my dump truck
There are some that are made that use a hose to a separate tank with the cap on it. Many of the BB use this method, but they just get filled at the tank and it flows into the HX. My dump truck also has similar kind of set up.
In the pic, the over flow container is on top left, next to it is...
It is a unicorn, but just maybe Lou's will work, or maybe even a different one if thought about it just a little more. Yours in one of a kind, I cannot even find it on the web with a part number. But if we look at what is actually needed, only the outside area needs to seal. The ports are in...
Slave relay on the motor item 17 part number 89-96158T, old part number is 89-96054T which also works just fine

The relay sends main power to the starter solenoid so the power to from the key doesn't have to go so far
This is Blah blah stuff
I have a vacation rental and need to be able to accept CC and direct ACH transfers. Have a paypal account but just had my first, and they sent the funds as Goods. Sending as goods it put the funds on a 21 day hold. I called paypal and they changed to services, but then...
VP used the mando ALT for the A and note the jumper. You would need to get yours rebuilt or replaced. Before doing either, do check how much the ALT is putting out when running, it should be close to 14.5V
Later models they changed the wiring so this won't happen.
Since you have riser extensions, I think one of your gaskets are wrong, or in wrong order. Do check both sides to make sure they are both set up as in the pic
Between carb and filter. Placing it there helps protect the pump from crud
No :nono: primer bulbs are only used on outboards. They can be used on I/O's and other for testing purposes only
Only know of a few on forums that may have the knowledge to answer to questions, but sure like all thoughts just for discussions. We have been seeing water pressure issues even prior to the CAT motors, and now I'm seeing things getting even worst.
Have seen a few threads talking about issues...
Really don't like one wires but that was not your issue
The below schematic is for the 485 with an amp meter. Note there are 2 wires going to the + side of the coil. The purple comes from the starter solenoid which powers the coil when starting. Once started and the key is released to RUN...
From what I "think" your saying how its wired I would say no, that is not correct
Grounds from both bats should connect to the engine block together with large enough size cables. Another wire sould go from the engine block to the Ground buss bar
The battery switch should have the positive...
If the muffler went into the intake it will do no harm, its a piece of foam and will just burn up and go out the exhaust.
With a backfire, need to check timing
Pesky little varmints. Watched it for about and hour, just set there looking around. Got down a couple times but only to go closer to the house (out of sight), then would come back to the same spot. Going to get a different vantage spot
This is how the trim system works.
There are small Blue/White and Green/White which come from the trim switches that energize the relays.
There are larger Blue/White and Green/White which come from the main post on the relays to the motor
Trim switches
Red is main power which goes to the...
