    online shopping

always watching.... This has been on FB for a bit, price drop a few hundred to $1800, purportedly with a well running 90 which would be perfect on my boat so thinking if I can get a few hundred off that price it would be a good motor to swap when the time comes, donate boat to the scrapyard...

    dash cams

I see too much crazy crap out there so time to get one. Got one for the truck already but is a bit different than my needs now. It has only forward unless you are in reverse. Very nice for the boat but on my car I want to be actively recording both at the same time. Here's my prob - I got...

    My next table project

Old floor wood scraps from a house that was built in 1996. Been in the barn since and he's letting me cull whatever he's got out there. Done some work with the planer and this a very rough layout of what I've got to work with.

ok kids - got the boat last year, new it had a leak, found 5 or 6 rivets that were leaking (mostly just a slow seep) so replaced those. Blind rivets with ample 4200. Found by putting a good amount of water in the thing with the plug in. Still have my leak. Never thought much about it as I...

    Wood working questions

Looking to take a bunch of 30 year old scrap pine tounge and groove (full inch not nominal) into a tablr top. Most pieces 12 to 18 inch some 3 foot or so. Butt ends will be put together with a biscuit and of course glue. Think I could glue the wood to a 3/4 MDF? A bit concerned for...

    Trailer ladder?

As i descend into the murky world of old age and more year round boating/fishing I'm beginning to think more about ease of use. To that end I'm thinking about steps/ladder to get over the bow in an upright position. I'm also pretty sold on the auto latch, probably the Drotto. I've been...

    Winch question

Need to adjust a friends winch location however that puts the bow stop in a bad place. I think the solution is to separate the winch off the bow stop arm. Can i mount the winch on the post directly? It would be rotated from the 'normal' relative position but do not see why that would not...

Solar pool heater water flow question(s)

Morning all. We put in an inground pool about a decade ago and we never have had any good shade until about 3-4 pm. Now that we are a decade older, as our friends, shade is becoming a little bit more important so ive been planning a 12x8 cabana for a year or so. Finally starting, have main...
