    water intrusion on house

I found it a few years back and thought the window was the location thought at the time; just around the window but it traveled a bit on the sill plate / rim joist so wasn't sure. Tried patching all visible mortar spots, used a high dollar sealant on the front of the house which I thought fixed...

Gimble bearing - what does it sound like....

right before and right after a gimble bearing goes south while on a nice morning run? Could the engine run/sound fine at hull speed but not under heavy load? When putting on the trailer and I turn hard (both ways) I would hear a 'rumble'?

    Smart Home

I remember seeing Bob Villa do one years ago and of course the technology is way better and I'm guessing 'arrived'. Things will change of course and there will be something newer and better all the time. Has anyone done it or at least heavily researched it?

I have a Garmin 531S that of course is several years old now and with my recent battle with the floating 2 x 8 I lost a warrior; my transducer. New one will be ~$75 plus a day worth of work to unhook and install new. So if I'm going to spend a day of work should I get a newer toy? Anything...

    dually v single tongue wieght

When I rebuilt the trailer a few years back I had a 1 tom Dodge single rear axle. Never felt funny towing. Now on my dually Ram i feel a bit 'off'. Would the feel be form a reduced downward force on the hitch due to the extra wheels? I can slip the bow stop forward about 4" really easily.

    Eclipse 2017

Keep seeing ‘once in a lifetime’ event for this. Well, in 1979 I lived in Portland OR and saw a full eclipse so this is kinda cool to be able to do it again at 51 years old. Technically the last coast to coast eclipse was in 1918 so yeah once in a lifetime. I’m going to run...

looks like they are holding me hostage. I've been hot linking for years. I guess they changed the TOS to extort money. Lots of chatter on the web about it. Sucks that all my pics from the last 10 years on all my boat forums will now be blocked. Any ideas on where to put pics now? We...

This is where my little sister lives and we fly out tomorrow. Why are Danes celebrating the Fourth of July? To celebrate American independence, thousands of Danes have gathered annually at a scenic national park on a slope in Jutland ? for more than 100 years. And it's not just expats who...
