    Engine water flow issue

Easy to miss align the tube. Would think the water would come out the prop exhaust if this were the case... on a gen one you can mess up the plate and gaskets below the pump and have no flow ( remember the key on the shaft...) Also there are some type of restrictor in the T above the thermo...

    Lower unit pressure test

you might be able to by clamping off the line tot he reservoir. The gasket for the outdrive is like $10-15... pretty cheap to know it holds pressure. if you hadn't done the shift shaft seal I would look closely at that. I got a fishing line in prop seal of my 2004 vintage gen 2. So I re-sealed...

Should I pull heads for inspection, 5.7 liter

easiest way is to take off valve covers take out spark plugs and rotate by the balancer. when both the intake and exhaust valves are closed then you can do the leakdown test on that cylinder. Im sure if you look online someone can tell you the orders of cylinders to do it off TDC on number one...

What are these wires and how does my spedo work?

The wires are for the trim gauge and or limit switch. Common they get brittle and break. By gen one alp h drive had a separate pito on the transom for the Speedo. Mor often than not speedos don’t work …

    General carb questions

The digram does show what look like metal sealing washers where the jets seat so I would get them this may not be for your exact engine but part 30 is a gasket kit looks like for whole carb...

    General carb questions

The hole in the airhorn is the bowl vent. Where it vents is inside the flame arrestor so that keeps debris out. the rod with the spring is the actuator for the power valve. engine vacuum will pull it up when at light throttle, when vacuum drops as throttle is opened, the spring pushes it down...

alpha one gen 2 bellhousing broke at exhaust bellow mount (nipple?)

yeah I often find on dirty castings you have to heat it with the tig torch almost forming a bead just to get the junk up on the surface and wire brush it. Saw it on a welding you tube channel where I guy was welding an old motorcycle transmission housing. Sounds like you will be fine with the...

    No spark thunderbolt 5.

I saw one relatively cheap a few years back and bought it for a spare. It is a shame they are so pricey as the TB is a really good ignition system

alpha one gen 2 bellhousing broke at exhaust bellow mount (nipple?)

I can only figure you hit something never seen one break there are there is no stress on it. I would think you can get in there enough with a TIG with a flat back cap and short tungsten. You don't have to completely weld 360 * it as it is open to the water anyways... Alternatively you could...

    Ujoints clunking?

yes and no.... yes in that the zerk may hit or not be useable (on bearing cap), but there are work arounds on the gen 2 I have to position the 90 deg zerk such that you cant get a grease gun on it to keep it from hitting as the joints fully articulate. Have to turn it about 30 deg when...

    Sea Doo GTI 130 Owners?

Looking at buying a 2016 GTI 130 to replace our '04 GTI RFI LE. Is the 130 enough power for watersports? I like the fact that this is a more entry level ski as we use it for a quick cruise , skiing/tubing/wakeboarding, we have a 21 ft boat so its not our only way to get on the water. Would...
