    It is nice looking stuff . Pretty comparable to Philippine mahogany. May be a tad harder and heavier. Good luck finding PM .. The Sapele is supposedly farm grown I think .

    Yeah I don’t know anyone close by . I did find a guy on FB that has one about a little over an hour from here .. I think most regular type band saws can only cut a 6” depth . I can do that with my table saw with 4 passes . That’s what I’m starting with atm .
