    Reattach cap to hull

I tried that lexel and it never cures completely. After a year it's still sticky. I went with it cuz it was crystal clear but now wish I didnt use it. In a hidden joint with lots of flex might be fine. Just not exposed where you might touch it

    Slightly warm trailer hub

There is an actual side play spec depending on bearing size and application. For wheel bearings I think its .002 . Big Aircraft landing gear is torqued to several hundred foot pounds. Timkin came and did some training at one of the places I worked

    Spare Stern Drive

Those gears look shot. You should have a nice polished oval mid gear. The pitting you see is most likely from too much pressure on those spots. We have these custom 4 foot wide gear/bearing sets like what a crane rotates on and that looks exactly like what happens to the gearbox output pinion...

    New Boat For Christmas

With my cuddy there is a step down and I had to put a "floor drain" to allow the water a place to get to the bilge. I used 1" pvc and bedded it in with peanut butter then glassed over the top. On the ends I ruffed up the pvc so the resin could stick better. I also made nice smooth transitions on...
