    Yeah all the death traps being towed to the lake I've seen last couple days reminds me why I haven't boated on a holiday weekend in 15 plus years. Overloaded with people piling out at the gass station/booze store. Regular summer weekends are bad enough.

    I do see wires to the port side however they have never been connected since I've owned the boat so must be in the switch or switch wiring. Installing trolling motor this weekend so I'll put this one the list.

    No, it's on the house. The first 12 ft or so is vertically tucked into the corner of the vinyl siding, the rest is under the house and/or deck. Now, I've never put the battery in a box? It's been under the deck. Takes a couple years to corrode.
