    I bought a used boat with a Merc 110 2 stroke in line 6 cyl. They told me the motor was 1988. Is there any way to confirm this from the serial number or other markings on the motor? It seems to run fine on the water. Thank you.

    Evinrude Ficht 115 2000 model
