This is a bitter reminder for me. Mine was from the 80’s and I loaned to the chef where I work he left with it and I never saw it again. My currant one is probably 10 or 12 years old now. It’s never had a problem but I’m just waiting for the day to come. I feel like very few things are made to...

No clue but if it has no paper work you may have a hard time getting it registered depending on where you are.

~1990 25hp Johnson Stuck in Forward

Try turning the prop or flywheel by hand and see if you can get it back in N. If not drop the lower and see what’s going on and do a water pump service while you’re there. What were the compression numbers?

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I remember my grandfather making a simple aeration system in his tank much like you would find in a live well and it did make a difference in taste and smell. I’m very spoiled where I live now as our water supply is amazing and needs little to no treatment before it reaches our homes. When we...

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

That took me back to my childhood. We didn’t have town water and we had wells with holding tanks to let it breath. Sulfur water was all we had it was nasty tasting stuff. We would freeze it and drink it as it melted as it was better going down when really cold. Town water finally made it our...

I still used my grandfather’s magnetic stud finder up until 6 months ago when someone walked off with it. 😡 it was very handy in old home with randomly placed framing. Such as my house which started life as a 600 sq foot chicken coupe in the 50’s I have added on over years and Im up to 1,400 sq...

Trail camera issues fixed, now pics from them ...

Yeah that’s a healthy belly. A buddy of mine had a cabin in NH and there were no Oak tress on his property so he would pay my kids to collect acorns by the 5 gal bucket and he would take them and spread them around the property. The deer and bears went crazy for them.

Best way to get to my boat?

Do you have a way to install inverted A frames on the existing piles and build a small deck on top to walk on?

Best way to get to my boat?

A rope on a pull-up system from the lift to shore. Pull yourself back on forth on a small raft or dingy?

Mine is like that. It has a mind of its own so I rely on a separate thermometer in the oven. It’s never been close to correct right from new. It’s a gas unit.
