    The white motor is higher displacement compared to the blue motor.-----The ports are a totally different shape as well.

    Taken a few apart lately.-----Last one I put together I used a new ( 1961 >1979 ) crankshaft and needle bearings on the rod journals.----Took a 58 apart this last spring that also had the updated needle bearing crankshaft.

    Your location ?------Also look at ---aomci---- website.----Locally these parts are not hard to find for me.-----What condition is the head gasket in ?-----Could also be the slip clutch binding.------These motors are NOT a mystery to me.----Have more than one around.

    If you can obly get to 1200 RPM there is a serious issue.----Should not be hard to find it.
