My buddys dad got 220# buck the other day which is big for here. He managed to drag it back to the truck but then realized he couldn’t get it in the truck and had to phone a friend.
There is almost always an easier way you just need to be in the know. I once wrestled an ac compressor in a truck for a 1/2hr trying to find a way out with removing a bunch of other stuff.
I took a break and it fell out on its own so then I had to find that path. Luckily I did 😂
I remember my grandfather had a rod made of steel. I don’t know what ever happened to it but if I remember correctly it was an octagon shape.
Have you ever seen one of those? If so I’m just curious what vintage it may have been.
One of the most common reason for linked breaker is they share a neutral so if one trips it will trip the other. If your hearing arcing in the panel it could be several causes including lose lugs and or corrosion. If you not comfortable messing with it then it best to make a call. For kicks you...
I love my Ugly sticks.
Oddly enough the best rod I ever had was a cheap Berkeley Cherrywood. That was when I lived in Fl. The action on that rod was so sweet.
It was useless when I moved to the North East and tried to battle 15# blues and 25# bass.
Bummer.
It happens. A few years ago the were two sailboats that were burning. Crazy thing was they were on morning. The embers from one caught the other on fire. They were both live aboard and everyone got off in time.
This is in my local news. They got lucky for sure.
If I hear what caused the fire I’ll relay the info.
Luckily the water is still pretty warm here so they had that on their side but the currants in that area can be crazy so even more lucky in that sense that they were able to make it to shore...
Yea it wasn’t cheap. I had a bunch of gift certificates saved up for my local tackle shop so I took the plunge. With the rod it was 5 bills.
But unless I lose it or slam it in the truck door it will last me a lifetime. 🤞
