    Installing a new asphalt driveway

Okay, time for that update, but I'll recap first. :sneaky: The project was started in January 2021. The original idea was to start in January and to complete the project by mid-March 2021 which is a very dry season here. Didn't happen. The plan was to fill and level the parking...

    Installing a new asphalt driveway

LMAO! Yer killin' me over here! :ROFLMAO: I found about 800 pix that I took during this project. I winnowed that down to 400, then further reduced it to 200... and this morning I found 50 more that had been omitted! o_O Still workin' on it though. 🤪

    Installing a new asphalt driveway

I've been working on it off and on today. It's taking forever because as usual, I took hundreds and hundreds of pictures. I've been sifting through all of them, trying to get a few samples for each month. Still difficult! 🤪

Christmas 2022 will be coldest in over 30 years

Right? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: That insulation job is on the actual well pipes that come out of the ground, along with the shutoff valve. No spigot there. 🤓 She covered all of it, including the electrical points box on top. 🙃😛

Christmas 2022 will be coldest in over 30 years

Going to drop to the 20s here tonight, maybe mid-to-upper teens. We put the outboard in the down position months ago, so it's winterized. 🤓 My wife went overkill to winterize the well pipes yesterday and insulated the electrical conduit too.

    Boat cover suggestions

I'd like to know as well. There are no reputable custom cover makers in my area, so I'm sort of hanging out in the breeze. I'll be following this thread.

Starcraft 1971'? 16' to Duck Boat Rebuild

^^This.^^ I used 3M VHB 4905 double sided sticky tape to hold the custom aluminum letters I put on my Kingfisher and trailer. It's the same stuff that car companies use to adhere badges to cars and whatnot. It's been completely unaffected by Florida's hot and humid weather. Works great and...

Posting those old pix reminded me that somewhere in that crowd of sailors on the USS Wasp, receiving the Gemini IV astronauts, is my cousin. Article: https://www.heritage-print.com/gemini-iv-crew-arrives-uss-wasp-june-7-1965-24045103.html

Yeahh... I missed it too. I tried to stay up but fell asleep in my chair until about 1230. 😆 By then they were saying the launch would slip because the upper tank was only 75% full. So, I went to bed. Got up this morning and immediately checked status and was pleased to see that it got up...
