    Take Merc to court. Unless you can prove that water didn’t enter the motor your toast. Merc certified techs did the inspection and said it did. I doubt at this point continuing to nip at heels will do much good. Good luck though!

    6 hours in on a pork butt, rack of ribs just put on the old Oklahoma Joe. In about 6 hours should be chowing down on ribs and making pulled pork. Couple dogs on for lunch.

    Been fairly hot here, and awfully dry. Streams and rivers are really low for July, lakes are dropping as well. As a archery hunter I have concerns about EHD( blue tongue) Perfect conditions for it already. Had an outbreak here a few years back. Lots of dead deer stacked up near water.

    Can’t help at all on this motor, Agree on hating to see NLA parts being scrapped. I mess with motorcycles not boats but it’s the same in the long run, once they are gone no getting them back. Having the space to store the stuff is a reason lots end up in the weather getting ruined.

    Some of the Ace stores have guys that are pretty decent with keys. Once in a while if I needed a blank I didn’t have in my lock shop I could go to a certain ace and the guy there could usually help me out. Another ace in the next town the key guy was clueless.

    No. CH751 is a very common key, used a lot on various electrical/mechanical panel boxes as well as other things, but in the world of cabinet locks there are 100’s of variations of keyways alone, not to mention cuts.

    It appears your beating a dead horse. That said it will be interesting to see what’s in the letter they send. I wouldn’t be surprised if a copy of the warranty is included.

    My initial thought as well. If not a forgotten strap , perhaps something somehow got tangled up and held the boat to the trailer till the toons pulled it loose ?

    Your going to pay more for that right now as well. In March I sold a two year old Charger scat pack for 7000$ more than I paid new. It was pristine, but still. Miss that one, but couldn’t pass up the deal.

    Go to a GOOD lock shop. A good lock shop/ locksmith can duplicate any key.
