    Sorry I missed the new fuel pump Part. But at the same time new doesn’t mean much to me any more. Especially when it comes to things that are supposed to be fuel resistant. On a side note I got a set a brake calipers for my buddys truck not long ago and one of them didn’t have a piston in it...

    20volt drill

    Well my DeWalt 20 volt drill went for a swim this morning in salt water. I soaked it in a bucket of WD-40 and blew it out with the air gun. It’s still going but any bets on how long before it gives up?

    Right but the pump is run by top cylinder if I’m not mistaken? If diaphragm was ruptured would it not add more fuel to the top cylinder?

    Fuel pump works off crank case pressure from top cylinder. If its adding fuel to that cylinder it could be to much. It cost nothing to inspect it. Jmo

    As mentioned check that fuel pump diaphragm If it’s ruptured and adding more fuel to that cylinder it won’t go boom without more air.

    Ultrasonic cleaners?

    I use the heater and have been getting great results with a few drops of Dawn dish soap. You can use to much and you will know when you do but the bench will be clean as well.

    Running up the rpm’s with no load on it a bad plan. Best to get it the water for testing and adjusting. Do a water pump service before that if you haven’t done it yet.

    Here I was thinking the 10mm was hitching a ride with the roll of black tape all this time. That vid proves they can and do just vanish. Next in the line up for me is the 1/2” box / open end.

    Can you paint an outboard cowling with automotive spray paint?

    I know guys that will use the $15 hvlp gun from harbor freight to shoot primer and then toss the gun. I have had one for years that I choose to clean and it just keeps going and does a fairly good job. I wouldn’t use it on a car but for other stuff it’s just fine.

    Linkage Adjustments

    That’s the number I came up with as well but without a factory manual I’m never 100% sure. There are charts on line. Try looking for J&E shift rod height charts.
