    Almost ready to apply the decals .. about half the pieces clearcoated now . The other half has the color on them . The only thing left to prep and paint is the tiller handle . Not planing on using it but gunna paint it anyway . I’ve never put on a big decal like this before . Hope it goes...

    Yeah, may as well go with the gloss .. Seems to be the consensus... Still working on the prop from time to time . Have gone from 120 to 2000 so far just sanding ..Haven’t put the buffing wheel on it yet... probably use some Brasso or Mother’s on it too ..

    Thanks guys ! ‘I didn’t realize the paint I got was metallic ...I only got 2 cans . I ordered another 2 . Ive never painted metallic before and this will be a first for painting clear coat .. All rattle can .. 4 coats on the shroud and 3 on the tank ..

    Just doing a little prep on the speeditwin .. What’s a good filler to take care of a few dings over aluminum.. The prop is gunna get shined up . I might can talk the Admiral into working on that . At least get it close then I could finish it up . ZC or SE primer for the aluminum ....?

    Hmmmm , I don’t know the number system but my Tee Nee has the number 75496 and the registration says it’s a 1958 .. ‘But it’s also registered as homemade .. I’m not sure if it’s correct really .. I haven’t done the research yet ..

    Did a little fine tuning on the templates for the wind shield . I had a scrap piece of plexiglass I dug out of the dumpster at work . Was thinking instead of a gasket or trim maybe just install these standard window clips ...
