even my $7 cheapie pistol grip grease gun tip is adjustable.
I do not miss those beauties, however I have one or two myself. we used them on the crawler frames of a few series of cranes.
A replacement mechanical pump is $50
an SAE J1171 compliant fuel pump is $87, the relay, oil pressure switch and wiring to properly wire it is another $20. then you need to add proper USCG approved fuel plumbing which is another $20.
so stick with the mechanical fuel pump.
It still freezes here in Florida. have had frost in Myakka the last few mornings . There will be a bunch of freeze busted lower units and motors this year.
If water freezes in the bird baths, it freezes in the outdrive cavity
if the lift doesnt go high enough to get the leg out of the water when the motor is straight down, either remove the boat from the lift, or the motor from the boat.
