Buy a complete carb kit with the fuel pump and primer diaphragm pieces. Otherwise you will be chasing failing gaskets.

    1986 yamaha 150 pro v oil questions

The oil on that motor never gets into the fuel system. You may need to adjust the oil pump, a manual or a dealer can help you find the specs. It could be the under the hood tank has to much pressure in it. I would buy a manual and do the proper trouble shooting. Was the motor smoking a lot? Is...

I a sorry where did the OP have a pump problem? I thought he had a charging problem? Why is there a pic of a cheap chinese pump motor on a post about a stator? Did I miss something in this post?

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

Been schooling you two on how to read a wiring diagram, Kinda hard to ask questions when the 2 main contributors are parts changers and confuse everything. Guaranteed you would be one of the biggest crybabies if somebody threw parts at you equipment!

    1989 mercury 115 ignition test

Go to max rules website has the CDI instructions for free. CDI is now charging for the info. Should not have a tilt switch. I don't think the tilt switch has anything to do with spark, I think it just limits tilt height.

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

Maybe if you asked more questions you would be less of a parts changer and more of a troubleshooter. And it's Dyslexia and only a douchenozzle would try to make fun of a handicap!!!!!!!! Your customers must love you! But it shows who you really are.

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

You have understood nothing but parts replacers seldom do. I like to find out why things break, that way if I have to put a new part on it won't have the same fate. But like I said its other peoples money. If it was you having parts thrown at your car or motor you would be the first one to cry...

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

You know what's funny is you clearly put up a diagram of the box showing the 2 relays it contains about 3 times. Now you just put up a pic of the box which clearly states assembly meaning more than 1 part. I am saying there are 2 relays in that box. I don't know why it is so hard for you to wrap...

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

The only reason you two are so hostile about this is because you did not know that was a 2 relay system. I called them curly cues to dumb them down for the uninformed. The funniest part which I am still laughing about is, you put the wiring diagram up that proved me right! TWICE LOL

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

The tilt and trim relays are CLEARLY highlighted in post #35. They are INSIDE the box. Hint they are the 2 curly cues in the yellow highlighted section. 1 is up and one is down. Clearly you are not the guy who gets handed the Fluke at work.

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

Hey Boscoe when you learn how to read a wiring diagram let me know. It clearly shows 2 relays in the wiring diagram YOU put up. Just because they are in a box and you can't see them doesn't mean there is only one. There is one box containing 2 relays. Post #31 you clearly state 2 relays in one...

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

Hey if you two want to be parts replacers that's fine. But don't get snippy at me because I prefer to diagnose things. What's wrong with testing the motor? What if the pump is the problem? How do you know it doesn't have a broken wire? Could be a $2 part. So you just told the Op to buy a motor ...

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

You are just mad because I disagreed with your approach of throwing parts at it. Wiring diagram shows 2 relays so am I really that wrong?

Trim Function for Yamaha 90 Four Stroke

How do you know it is not a simple fix? But I guess it is easier to tell someone to replace it when it is not your money. Those are not cheap motors and the ones that are won't be worth installing.
