    2022 Yamaha 300hp 4-stroke Command Link NMEA

The two networks (CL and CLP) should never be connected together. Gateway or not. And it is documented.

    2022 Yamaha 300hp 4-stroke Command Link NMEA

Who said anything about those wires being blue and white? I will say it only once. Do not go connecting the Command Link network to the Command Link Plus network. It will get expensive.

    2006 F115 wiring questions

The sender is a variable resistor. All blacks are normally grounds. Can't imagine why it would not be on your boat. You can measure the resistance on the pink wire at the dash. To any ground. The resistance should be the same at the dash as it is when measured directly at the sender connector...

    2006 F115 wiring questions

The trim sender is located on the clamp bracket. A component below the bottom cowling. Find the sender and then follow the wires into the bottom cowling. Then follow those wires inside the cowling, one of which, the pink one, leads to the single four pin connector. Let me know what you find.

    2006 F115 wiring questions

I have not been asking these questions to make your life miserable. The situation is that Yamaha made a design change around the time your motor was built. The change was related to the four pin connectors that attached to a harness that ran out of the motor and up to the dash. Early models used...

A machine shop might be able to get in there with a plasma torch and cut the nut off. Maybe resulting in less collateral damage than if using a chisel.

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

Territories matter. If folks in the great wonderful world of Europe would tend to their territory, folks in other territories would not be getting misleading information. If not for folks in one territory, then folks in other territories would all be speaking German today.

Depends upon where "over there" is. To those in the USA, operating Yams distributed by Yamaha USA, it makes no sense at all.

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

What is Yamaha Europe doing since the elimination of model years here in the USA? Does the PID label still have a model year code in the lower right hand corner? Is it still referred to as a model year motor or is it now a production year motor? Is the production year 01/01 thru 12/31 or is...

    Running Yamaha on Flush Fitting

Don't let it out, but I am going to disclose a well kept secret. The Yamaha Owner's Manual is written for (roll drum here) an owner. Billions of them. One of which will be the dumbest box of rocks on the planet. Because Yamaha has no idea as to which stupid person, or persons, will own their...

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

This is a US website. Although obviously being available worldwide to all. Except to Russia for the time being. It would be helpful to those asking questions to say what country they are in. And to give us the primary ID of the motor. But that seems to be a pipe dream. We can barely get much...
