    "Flat" pontoons

    If the dents/ bends are severe, the aluminum may be cracked. The aluminum used in boats and pontoons is tempered for strength. When impacted they may crack and while they may not leak now...they could in the near future. Being in a remote area is not a safe place to test it...

    I have a Sylvan16' side console with a 40 hp and get just 31 mph. If your 75 is in top running condition, my guess would be around 40 mph. Not familiar with that exact model but pics would help. I can say that I really like my Sylvan, great aluminum boat...no leaks..not one !!
