    RPM at cranking speed

The high speed winding isn't your problem if you have no spark. Lost the high speed windings on a 175HP Merc 20 miles offshore. Motor started and ran perfectly fine up to ~1,500-1,600 rpm. Long, long ride home.

Caught another boats anchor, whos fault?

There is no "logic" when it comes to recreational boaters. Reason I avoid weekends and popular locations like the plague. Most are ignorant to the rules of the road and the other half could care less one way or another. There are no enforceable rules to rode length. It's left to boater...

    Swapping out rollers for bunks

If your having issues loading a roller trailer, you're too deep. I see people all the time back in too far in an attempt to float the boat to the post to save time only to have the transom float off center on them. If you back in just enough to put the last set of rollers under water, then...

Why do ENC charts not show lighthouse characteristics?

Sounds like a works in process.... The charts are being converted from Raster to Vector maps. With that being the case, any "graphics" would need to be verified then replaced with "clickable" details. https://nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/charts/docs/NCP-1-pager-v2.pdf

Toggle panel out after installing new battery

Not necessarily. Could be on the ground side. Shouldn’t matter assuming everything is shiny and tight. This should be an easy fix. Make sure all the ground wires are attached. Figure out what wire supplies the aux. panel and follow it back to the battery. Guessing it’s one of the wires you...

My Boat capsized and asking help in figuring where the water came in!

Being a bass boat, my money is on a failed (plastic) bait well pump connection at the back of the boat https://www.iboats.com/shop/shurflo-piranha-aerator-pump-angled-35711210.html

    Northstar Explorer 660 firmware/maps update

Doubt the rocks where in the “wrong” place. Sand bars move, obstructions sink, etc. but rocks done move…..More than likely the datum reference was wrong Not sure what your looking for. You want a unit with good depth meter (sonar) but don’t want a unit with sonar (fish finder)? A “fish finder”...

Toggle panel out after installing new battery

Dig a round a bit in the battery compartment looking for the stray wire you didn’t connect to the new battery. Don’t ask how I know…lol

Prop Recommendation for 2022 150 Sea Pro Mercury Outboard

Slip increases with load but doubt that’s your problem given the circumstances you outlined. If your loosing speed relative to RPM the prop is slipping. 5300 rpm was 45 mph, but now 5300 is 40.5 mph = 10% slip If you are unable to reach your WOT rpm your over propped for the load… you’ve run...

    Multiple Gauge Issue

Boats wiring is notorious for having corrosion issues. Put your meter on ohms. Put one probe on the battery connection and the other on one of the ground connections at the gauges. Ideally should be 0 ohms but up to 5 ohms is acceptable. Now switch meter over to DC volts and measure between...

Prop Recommendation for 2022 150 Sea Pro Mercury Outboard

What is your current WOT rpm? A 19” prop will give more speed but drop your WOT rpm A 17” prop is typical for a boat of that size. 150 hp is a bit short on hp for that boat that size.

    Dual battery switch and isolator

You could replace, but I would looked into a Blue Seas “add a battery” kit. Not a fan of 1/2/both switches https://www.bluesea.com/products/7650/Add-A-Battery_Kit_-_120A

Please HELP! Am I being overcharged for Presale Inspection, Service, etc 2016 Cobalt R3?

The parts prices on the invoice look like cost. Coincidence the excess amount is almost exactly 3 times parts cost? Pretty typical parts markup

    Dual battery switch and isolator

If you only have one battery the isolator serves no purpose. Just use the switch.

    Multiple Electrical Issues

Molex connectors on a boat....;( Guarantee you have the dreaded "black wire" disease in the wire as well. Better off to strip back some wire to get rid of the disease and attach new pins. Better yet, buy a suitable connector and fix the problem once and for all...
