    Trim ram maxium extension

I know that the Merc's are about 8" of extension (so about 10-11" total ram exposure to the outer ring). The V-P should be similar.

Help with vibration from 1400-3500 RPM

You could run the engine w/out the drive as stated to see if that makes a difference. Another thing I would check is the engine mounts. See if the lag bolts are loose.

Mercruiser 4.3…Milky oil coming from timing cover.

Sure has the symptoms of a cracked engine block . . . As mentioned, pressure test on the cooling system before any wrench turning so you can know for sure. Also, change the oil at this point and take a look at the old oil that comes out. In order to test for water in the oil, take a small...

    Boathouse Length vs Boat Length

In terms of a 'no-no' . . . are you concerned about the lift being too small or the 2-3 feet of direct exposure to weather?

@Pensarmy Sorry . . . 'We' are just having some fun. Faster means more power (right?) More power would mean more volts or more current. I assume that your electric motor is drawing the amount of current that it can from the 24 volt system . . . sooo, it would mean more voltage. But the...
