    Would agree with alldodge the steering flaps that come out are basically useless you need a little throttle to steer Hopefully it works out well for you. If it is well taken care of should last a few more years with out too much work on your end

    Since it does it side to side up and down, would pull drive check u joints. Then move bellhousing by hand and see if it is binding up. suspect you will see water in bellows that rusted ujoints but thats a educated guess

    Do you have a hydraulic shop around you they can make hoses to match what u have in there. Forklift/ material handling repair shop can likely do the same - anywhere that can make hydraulic hoses can make them off your old ones

    Yeah same thing, just didn't want him thinking it was a bolt in to get to a non obsolete drive. I suspect finding the right folks you can keep a TRS going for a few more years.

    I think you are supposed to trim the 1/2" where they overlap, not double them up with silicone in between. For me I would redo them as there is no way they can sit flat. I would run it on the ground before you put it in it is easy to do and look for leaks
