    Reverse gear

Seems to be an epidemic of motors not being able to go into reverse. If you remove the shift rod can you shift it into reverse manually?

    termostat/cooling at Johnson 90hp 1986

Pee stream or tell tail is independent of the cooling channels and just shows your pump is working. Thermos allow water into the cooling channels to cool the engine after it starts to warm up. If channels are blocked no cooling will happen. Someone tried fixing it and gave up or something.

1990 48 HP SPL ,No reverse

The adjustment is back at the motor. You have two cables, one is for throttle and one is for shifting. It might not be adjusted so that it doesn't go back far enough to make it go in reverse. You can remove it, shift it by hand, see if it works and then adjust the cable to it's proper location.

    Suzuki DF115 transom (Trim/Tilt) saver??

Never seen that, looks interesting. My outboards had flip down brackets for trailering. What does your new motor say to do when trailering? Surprised a 2023 outboard would not address that.

    Battery draining

You state that after fishing the battery was at 100% and then when you came back to it it was empty. What you didn't say is how long was that? Was that a day was that a week? Also, I...

"No Oil" Alarm on 1999 FICHT 90HP

Hey, sometimes with emails, texts and forums, the tone seems worse than it really is. Everyone here in my opinion is trying to help. Your original question is really not a question anyone can answer because all of those things can fail. Some times it's just better to take it to a pro. I do hope...

    Battery draining

Charge it up and take to any auto parts store and have them load test it. I'm pretty sure that the key being on can produce that situation. Pretty easy to diagnose though, charge it, and leave the key off, then test.
