    something to think about the last 3 plastic thru-hulls I had to replace was because the flange broke off. plug would not help that situation back to the leak. double check all the thru-hulls then look at the rivets/seams

    here is an anology. a houseboat with twin 454 big blocks moves at 8mph. the same houseboat with a 50hp motor moves at 8mph. that is the displacement speed of the hull even with the 150hp motor, I do not see that pontoon getting to 25-30 on the water. at a minimum, you would need lifting...

    Remember, livewell pumps are rated at 0" of head. So if the rise from the pump to the discharge is 1 foot and you have 6 feet of hose (~1' of additional head) you have to look at the chart for the 2' of head. Which is closer to 600gph

    Grew up with Mercs. Some older johnnyrudes, some Atwaters, Mac's, Hiawathas. The Mercs always had more power for a given rating.. rating was at 3/4 throttle and above that was "reserve". At least that was the story I got at the time Dad had a buddy (Merc and Tecumseh contact) do some work...

    1, not needed on electronic ignition 2. Trace the wire 3. Look at the schematic for your motor in the factory service manual. Blue is not a wire color associated with the alternator. Dark blue is dash wiring. Light blue is oil temp.
