    Maybe there is a leak in one of the 2 crankcases.----Not developing enough PRESSURE to drive the pump.----Reed valves might be the issue.

    It depends on what boat the motor is pushing.----You need a splined prop and one that does not have through the prop exhaust.------Post part # of some props that you are looking at.

    The fuel pump runs with a PRESSURE pulse.----The other line is part of the bleed / oil recirculation system.

    It may be that there is an issue with your motor.----I would start the trouble shooting with a compression test.--Post the numbers you get.---Timing on these does not go out of adjustment.---I would not start adjusting timing at this point.

    Ontario is fairly big.-----City near you is ?---Parts are easy to find.------evinrudeparts.ca-----In Ontario will help you.----There really are no heavy duty parts in this motor.-----In my opinion it was a marketing ploy to clear out old inventory !!

    I do not believe that OMC designed 2 HP ever used a fixed jet for high speed.----Pull the flywheel and check the coil, clean points.-----Remove fuel line at the carburetor , open fuel valve and see if there is good flow.----Strainer in the tank might be plugged.----Do a compression test and post...

    ???____Work like a dentist.----Get a dremel tool with a thin cutoff wheel.----Split the remains of the key along the length.---It might fall out.----Gentler on bearings that way too !
