    There is only a low speed mixture adjustment.----Check the thermostat.----They often stick open.----And replace that impeller !

    The high speed jet ( orifice plug ) is in the bottom of the float bowl.----There are 4 of them in total on your motor----They are about 5/8" long.----They must be clean.---Also post compression numbers .---These motors have a history of broken piston rings.

    Takes just minutes to change the grommet as stated clearly.----You do not have to remove the power head to change the grommet !!---I believe the upper and lower grommets are the same.----I believe the exhaust housing has 2 wee holes where the grommet is held.----Use those 2 holes to push it out.

    Some of those use a thermal overload device and contacts might need cleaning.---Or if moisture got in the motor the upper bushing on armature might be stuck.----Nothing to lose, so take top cover of the motor.

    Pull cylinder head and inspect.----65 PSI indicates a problem.----Not going to get any better by itself.

    The red lever is for manually opening the primer valve.----For running the red lever should be in line with the primer valve body.----If red lever is in partially open position it clearly indicates a problem with carburetors.-----Stop running the motor and sort this out.

    Optical ignition motors may work well with resistor type wires

    Your location ?----There might be 2 different motors used on those.-----Pictures ?----What is wrong with the motor ?----That motor is often submerged in water.-----Not hard to relocate that inside the boat.

    If it has not been looked at for 20 years the coils are likely shot.----Pull the flywheel.---The fuel pump is easy to repair / inspect in my opinion.----Does motor keep running if you operate the manual pump ?
