    There may well be an issue with crankcase pressure that drives the fuel pump.-----You can help yourself by posting the cylinder compression.----That may offer some clues.----Is the oil injection in service ?-----A simple 2 barb fuel pump that fits on the intake manifold is also an option.

    Different shape nose.-----Different bearing housing on front of the propshaft !!-----The bearing housing was made smaller as the nose of the gearcase is different !
