    Where to get a key for a 1964 Johnson

    Hi, Does anyone know a link on the internet to where i can get a key to a 1964 40 HP Johnson outboard? There is a code on the ignition swith that say KF18. This ignition swith is a 5 terminal and is seperate from the control box. But in the mean time what wires could i use to start it.

    How do you remove the lower unit from a 1956 5.5 johnson (red in color). Just undo the 4 and pull? I dont think its that but i can't the shaft connecters. Theres one plate on the left side by the connection of the lower and leg but theres no bolts to undo. thanks
