    DP-? Large hinge pin?

    I have a Volvo Penta DP-A and a DP-B1 out drives, both have the small diameter hinge pins, many people call them "small pin",, When did VP switch to the "large pin", larger diameter hinge pins? I heard it was DP-C, but I want to confirm . Thank You

    Re: Pull start 40-60hp 115 HP, tiller steer, pull start, I took this pic last summer These are not uncommon in Alaska. I don't know when Mercury quit making the 40HP 2 stroke, 3 cylinder Thunderbolt. That engine was easy to convert to rope/tiller.

    Mine never worked. How are they supposed to work, is there a timer or a controller ? Is there anything to control burn time or is that done manually by holding the key in a certain position? How do I trouble shoot this? The manual doesn't give much info on the glow plug system. I'm guessing...
