    boat capacity, who sets it?

    The 18' bass boat i purchased used, has a sticker on the back that says max of 4 people. My question is who sets these guidelines? Is this something that can be readjusted for more people based on some inspection?

    Adding a Kicker, Need some tips

    I have a 18' v bass boat. I am planning on adding a kicker, most likely a 9.9hp 4 stroke. Currently there is a 70hp VRO 1989 Johnson engine. If I T off the existing fuel line, do I need to add a fuel filter or a fuel check valve so each engine does not affect the other? Thanks!
