    How do you check the oil in your trim pump? (M/C 470, w/Alpha 1R) Do I check the oil when the outdrive is all the way down or all the way extended (up)? Also after several searches, I'm a little confused, should I use straight 30wt. oil or ATF? Thanks in advance, Larry

    :confused:I have taken off my lower unit and in stalled a complete new seawater pump. W/O the engine running and the water hose from the transome pass thru copper nipple removed. Should I expect to see water flowing from the nipple when I have the garden hose on and the muffs on the lower unit?
