    70 hp evinrude 1977 ,piston no2 sleeve , why does it always seem ?

    the no 2 piston sleeve , ive been given a powerhead , & found the no2 sleeve to be scored , the other one i have does have the same problem, does any one know why this seems to happen , ive been told that its a comon problem with them 70.hp ,is there anything that can be done to prevent this...
