    Surging Johnson 6 hp.

I checked the bottom jet and it looked pretty good. I soaked the while carb in Berryman for a couple hours last night and just to be sure. My fuel is probably 2 or 3 months old. I have a 4 HP motor that I am working on now at the same time that has no surging, so I think the fuel is ok. This 6...

    Surging Johnson 6 hp.

I rebuilt the carb. I don’t have a book: just replace all the parts in the Crowley marine kit and turn the low speed know out 1 and 1/2 turns and fine tune from there. If there is more I’m missing that’s news to me. I probably need to download the red book from the aomci sites I’ve got a service...

    Oar length

I fish the river and I can’t get back upstream with a trolley motor is my entire problem or this wouldn’t even be an issue. I also go out alone or with my 2 year old son most of the time

    Oar length

Being someone that misses the obvious a majority of the time it occurred to me exactly what to do. I am going to buy 2 2x2x10 or 2x4x10s this spring and see what length is comfortable to get the feelings of paddling with.

    Oar length

We call em trolley motors here in indiana not trolling motors. It’s any traditional electric motor that you hook up to a battery. The way you use it has impact on the name. No one here calls them trolling motors it’s always trolley motor.

    Oar length

I’ve got a trolley motor and I’ve considered getting a little 3 hp motor instead of oars. I think the 3 would be cheaper and easier to manage, but wanted to see how viable oars would be.
