    air leak merc 1150?

    just had carbs and f/pumps rblt. <br />Orig. problem, top speed was only 25-30 at WOT, RPM's? tach. bad.<br />took out to load test yesterday and after 10-15<br />seconds, it starts to lose power and primer bulb<br />is soft. Suspect air leak??? Fuel tank and pick-up<br />hoses are new as well...

    merc thunderbolt tach.

    have a vintage early 70's merc thunderbolt tach.<br />that appears to be bad. do they still sell these?<br />I know there's lots of replacements out there, <br />but I would have a 4" round hole in my dash and<br />most tachs are a lot smaller these days.<br />all links/info. appreciated.<br />M.Y.

    merc 1150 wish list

    purchased this "70 1150 about 3 mo. back. it is<br />the cleanest 30yr old motor I have ever seen!<br />it is completely origional all the way down to<br />plug wires.<br />ran her for maybe 10-20hrs. so far, mostly<br />conservativly. starts,runs,idles good...no miss.<br />rectifier is bad...

    gelcoat repair

    well I banged my port/aft corner on the dock &<br />have a small "quarter" size chip in the gelcoat<br />above the water line that I would like to fill.<br />what is the best product you have used? any<br />advice/tricks are appreciated.
