    1971 1350 IL6 RPM question.

    What rpm should my motor run at usually at WOT?<br /><br />What is a good rpm for safe running? I don't want to stress the motor.<br /><br />Good news took boat out on the lake after having the skeg repaired and it ran at 4100rpm and got 35mph.     IL6 1971 1350 Fuel Bottom Carb.

    I have excessive fuel coming out of the bottom carb when I prime the bulb. I took the bowl out and did a visual inspection of it and the seat they both looked good from what I could tell. When I prime it is when the fuel just runs out the bottom carb and the bulb never seems to get stiff at...

    1971 Merc 1350 Powerhead Water

    Well as I can guess this is not a good sign. I have a high pressure water leak coming from the left side which Im guessing covers my exhaust valves on the powerhead. I can't see a good exploded view of it on seloconline.com. So I am guessing that the right side (viewing from rear) is the reed...
