    5.0 MPI w/Brass water pump and Impeller

    I want to replace the impeller and went to shop.evinrude.com and saw in the break down it also has a water pump repair kit? I thought with the direct drive all you had was impeller pumping the water??? There is a water pump in there???? It is a 2hp 1982 evinrude. e2rcne

    Lacquer thinner????

    Cleaning hull with Lacquer Thinner for first paint...seems to works very well,,,at 15% of cost of "real" Cleaner.,...But I promise not to use House Primer as first coat..haha

    cant find this carb anywhere...maybe just rebuild it? Both low and high speed needles are wobbly in the threads so its gotta be fixed. Just depends on threads on carb I guess.

    Need something to put my 2hp evinrude to flush and or run in and do repairs if needed..Thinking of building a box then lining it with fiberglass resin but thats gotta add up..any Ideas? need something to hold water and engine..its only 20 lbs or so.Maybe even a metal garbage pail???
