    is a tower a must?

    Is a tower a must have for wakeboarding and skiing? I mostly pull tubes but would like to get into some skiing and wakeboarding?? I am 6'2 200 lbs and can ski but I have never wakeboarded what kind of board should I get? Is wider better?? Longer better?? someone point me in the right direction...

    Mercruiser 140 exhaust manifold questions

    can a crack in the exhaust manifold cause not enough pressure for water to flow at WOT? Can a skilled welder seal that crack up enough with cast iron welding rods? If I found a parts motor but it was a different carb could I switch over to the MerCarb, exhaust manifold , and riser with no problems?

    Mercruiser 140 overheating...

    I have a 1971 Mercruiser 140 and it keeps overheating. I have tried to put in a repair kit for the stern water pump. I have checked all the drain plugs and put new ones in. I can put the engine in drive and run about 7-10 mph and the engine will stayed cooled but when I go to half throttle on up...

    MErcruiser 140 water cooling question

    where is the water supposed to exit on my 1971 Mercruiser 140? I keep having water get pumped into the boat from the engine and I believe the previous owner might have forgotten to put the drain plug back in after they were done and I am curious as to what you guys think

    Mercruiser 140 lower unit install

    I am putting a water pump kit on my 1971 Mercruiser140 and have the kit in and everything but can't get the lower unit up on the upper unit snuggly...I can get it to about a 1 inch gap between the upper and lower...thats it....can't figure out what its hanging up on and don't know what to do...

    I just rebuilt the carb and put the "tune-up kit" on my Mercruiser 140 and was hoping to solve all my problems but now since the engine runs for awhile I have come to find that the engine is overheating in about 15-20 minutes of use.     What part number from iboats.com is the carb rebuild kit that I need for my 1971 140 Mercruiser boat. Serial number on the engine is 2966548 and the carb is a Rochester 2 barrel carb.
