    '90 Mariner 90HP water intake

    STOP!!! Dont run it at all!!<br /><br />You need to drop the lower unit and replace the IMPELLER (waterpump) Its comming apart.<br /><br /><br />Get all the pieces out.

    If you dont want to remove the starter. Get some engine cleaner from the auto parts store or Wal Mart and spray it. Then wash down with water. Then re-lube with grease or spray with WD40 or some lube like that. You need to lube this thing several times per year.

    Depends on the motor. Most will be stronger and last longer on 24 volts.

    Yes you can install trim..But its going to cost more than the engine is worth. You got a 1972 model.<br /><br />The trolling motor does not have to be in the water to run.. Check power and ground first.<br /><br />Mix is 50:1

    Bought boat number five yesterday :( :) <br /><br />Dont have a manual yet..But its a jetboat with Rotax engines. I would like to know if anyone knows of aftermarket(name brand) oil that is "low ash" (as was TCWII oil) not TCWIII which is "ashless".<br /><br />I would rather not buy oil...
