I was looking at my large print "truckers" atlas and it made me wonder.
Wonder why someone doesn't make a boaters atlas.
A map for all the states with detailed info on the lakes/rivers. [depth, fishing, camping, boat ramps etc]
I found this site while searching for propellers.
It has info and tips on the stringer outdrives and much on the Evinrude/Johnson boats. Hope someone else can use this info or at least find it interesting.:)

I have a 1976 Stringer with the pin mount. Since the props for this are very limited in availability, is it possible to convert a new style to the pin?
Also if anyone has a link for more props for this, I'd appreciate it.;)

I have a 1976 OMC 140hp, 2.3 liter 4 cyl.
Since it needs a ballast resistor, is it possible to change the coil so I do not need the ballast resistor?
IS it possible to convert the system to electronic and then eliminate the ballast resistor?
The Apollo boat I bought looks like it's fallen off the trailer at one time. I know I can use fiberglass and a good rezin for repairs.
I'm wondering if I can use a regular single stage paint for the bottom and rest of the boat. I plan on using an overly long keel protector after the repaint.
