    When comparing the new impeller with the old impeller (see pics) I noticed (besides the worn vanes) that the Drive Pocket was partially gone! I will be inspecting the inlet to the Power Steering cooler and flushing it out.

    First off - I have had this boat for going on 2 seasons and have only had it in fresh water with maybe 30 hours last year and ZERO this year! I winterized according to original manual and post found here. There are no issues with water leaking into the bildge from cracked block or freeze plugs...

    Bruce, Thank you very much! I will break out the drawing and find out exactly what that "round flat bushing" is and purchase the newer version with a grease fitting. The fact that it cracked in this area due to water being trapped and freezing is alarming and driving me to remove the outdrive...

    is this crack, able to be filled with aluminum epoxy? I plan on replacing the unit with a refurbished one this winter. Just want to get some use out of it this summer. I am simply not familiar with whether or not this is intended to be a water tight seal or not. Thank you for your opinion.
