    4.3 merc ignition trouble

    only problem with the setup is sometimes the key works, other times it clicks, othertimes it doesnt do anything. after 5 trys it will work. what could be the trouble ? its old 1989 but I dont see the wiring just going out. I wil check the batteries to see if theyre full. im sure they are.
