    Fuel problem.

    fuel pressure would drop to 0 sometimes also causing the engine to shut off ,i also remove my little glass filter and the same thing ,the filter is quite clean , and the pump is pumping ,what is the problem ? could it be my water seperator ? are blockage in my tank ?

    From forward To reverse no neutral

    Backup engine if main engine fail.

    What would be a good recommended backup engine , i have heard of the electric proped system are they any good? or just get a small engine and have it bracket on to the stern.

    only 18 knots at full throttle.

    i get 18 knots at full throttle well the boat i heard is 4550 pounds there was 4 person on board and the boat plain off at about 15 knots, what can i do to get more speed ? (mercrusier 5.7 litre 350 hp , prop 15x17).

    Burning on sign on Engine.

    Safety Question.

    What should i do ,if i get caught by a storm or hard rain where my route is not visible out at sea ,should i try and drop hanker cut my speed and wait for the wheater to hold up , and yes in the case with or without a Gps .

    ignition amplifier.

    what is the purpose of the igniton amplifier on the ignition system, my own mark mercruiser igniton thunderbolt lv but i remove it cause my distributer only have a b+ and a tach do i need to reconnect this amplifier back ? or i am good without it .

    Prop problem !!!!!

    i have a 15 x 17 aluminum prop whitch is damage i now have a stainless steel 14 1/2 x 19 that i wish to install, the question is will i get a better performance, i am looking for a quicker plain off ,and of course faster speed, better fuel economy (is the prop iam getting better ?) alpha 1 gen2...

    Mounting Flange problem.

    could someone tell me how the big butter fly on this carbarator is open is it by compression or by the vacuum line from the carbarator ? cause mine has nothing connected to it , this picture is a sample . 1992 regal 233xl mercrusier 5.7.

    Cant go full throttle

    after testing my boat i found out it cant go full throttle , it backs off each time like the engine is governed, also sound like it is starving for gas, also sounds like it would stall out , i did change the mechanical pump to a electronic pump ,could it be the pump not sending the right amount...
